TEDxSMU brings together ideas and interesting people from around the world and around the corner

TEDxSMUWomen 2018

TEDxSMU

TEDWomen is a TED event curated by TED that focuses on women and women’s issues. TEDxWomen events are TEDx events that follow the live webcast of TEDWomen, and also feature live and local speakers. Our event is called TEDxSMUWomen and we are one of the many TEDx events that will happen around the world on November 29th! We will expand upon the ideas brought up at TEDWomen, while also relating it back to the Women of Dallas.

This year’s theme is Showing Up… Women the world over are no longer accepting the status quo. They’re rising up, breaking out and pushing boundaries. Whatever their focus and talent — business, technology, art, science, politics — these pioneers and their allies are joining forces in an explosion of discovery and ingenuity to drive real, meaningful change. TEDWomen and TEDxSMUWomen will celebrate how these dynamic and diverse people are showing up to face challenges head on, all while empowering each other to shape the future we all want to see. We’re showing up for TEDWomen 2018. Are you?
